What inspired you to pursue a career in modeling?

When I was a child I was always tall and as I thought unattractive. I was going in for sports and showed very good results and had a promising future in high jump. Sport tempered my character and taught me how to achieve my goals. But I was dreaming of a career as a model. It was the time when it was the Soviet Union, a very closed country with very few prospects to live your life as you wish. There were a lot of clichés about what a young girl should do not to upset her parents and which profession to choose. So I entered the university and became a teacher of English, German and Russian. Of course, speaking the languages opened many doors for me and I am very grateful my mom that she pushed me to get this education. So I tried many jobs but continued to dream about modeling. In 2016 I moved to one of the best places in the world – to Crete. The beauty of this place made me feel relaxed, and forget about the hustle and craziness of a big city. Living among the nature you start feeling it and seeing its beauty. This made me come back to my dream to become a model again

Can you share a memorable experience from your early days in the industry? My memorable experience is not from my early days as I started my career only last year. But it is really very memorable: November, it was still not cold in Crete, but that day was very windy and cloudy. We was in realizing of project with Santomuse and wanted to make a photo shoot at sunset. We chose a location on the sea, started shooting and the wind was blowing from all directions bringing sand, mosquitoes and coldness. Suddenly the sky was painted with bright sunset colors and we had only 15 minutes to make the best shots. You can enjoy the results :) *How do you prepare yourself for a photo shoot? I like to organize my spirit and my feelings.

I always tune in by meditations, by imagining what feeling and emotion I will show.

What unique qualities or skills do you believe have contributed to your success as a model?

To become a successful model having a beautiful and attractive appearance is not enough. A successful model must be patient and physically strong. As I said before, sports helped me to be like this as well as to be efficient, result-oriented, and stress-resistant. I am a very sociable person and easily establish contact with people. I love life and strongly believe in the power of love and beauty which one can show by the look, character and style

Can you share a challenging moment you’ve faced in your career and how you overcame it?

In January I celebrated my 50. As I said I started my career as a model only one year ago. Many people will say that it is too late to start a model career at 50, that I am too old for this.

But first of all it has always been my dream and I believe if you have a dream you should follow it no matter when you start. You should rely on your inner feelings and understand the purpose. I want to show to many women that life just begins when you are 50, that a woman can be beautiful and sexy at this age. I want to inspire women to be beautiful as beauty can make the world better. When I lived in The Soviet Union it was believed that after 40 a woman was old and her place was at home serving the kids and the husband, not saying about being sexual and sexy. Can you imagine that at 55 women used to have pensions? Meaning that this is the end of life, at least active life. Of course, now the times have changed and there are many opportunities for women to remain healthy, strong, sexy, and beautiful as long as they can. That is why now is a challenging moment for me to be a good example for other women.

What advice would you give to aspiring models looking to break into the industry?

Not to be afraid. Work hard, follow the discipline. Listen to yourself, to your inner voice of your heart. Always be grateful to the people who help you and be ready to help others.

How do you stay grounded and maintain a healthy work-life balance?

I treat my work as a peasant part of my life. I always like what I did before and like what I do now. I get satisfaction from work and it helps me bring good emotions, joy and love to my personal life.

What has been the highlight of your modeling career so far?

As I am very young as a model I think that it is only a beginning for me and being on the cover of your magazine is the highlight of my modeling career so far.

How do you think the fashion industry has evolved, particularly regarding diversity and inclusivity?

The fashion industry has come a long way in terms of inclusivity and diversity. Brands are beginning to recognize the importance of creating clothing lines that are accessible and appealing to all people, regardless of their race, gender, size, or ability. By embracing inclusivity, the fashion industry is not only creating new opportunities for growth and profitability but also promoting a message of acceptance and self-confidence.

What are your future goals and aspirations within the modeling industry?

I want to continue my career as a model. I would like to take part in those projects that can show a woman’s beauty, to show to many women that they can be beautiful in any age and modeling is not only for young girls.

I would like to participate in projects promoting healthy lifestyles. I am a big fan of yoga, energy practices and meditations, so I want to combine them, advertising healthy lifestyle and yoga classes or sports clothes. I would like to participate in fashion shows and be published in popular magazines to show people love, beauty, joy and other emotions.
